Our Design & Build Process
A Clear Process. A More Personal Experience.
Good remodeling is a series of well-made decisions. We'll help you understand the next one.

Step 01 — Let's Talk About Your Home.
We start with a brief introductory conversation. Tell us which space you'd like to change, what isn't working, your area, your timing and what you are comfortable investing. We'll discuss whether the project sounds like a good fit and what an initial visit may involve.
Step 02 — Walk the Space & Define Priorities.
An on-site consultation, when appropriate, helps us understand dimensions, existing conditions, functional goals and design preferences. We also flag anything that requires a contractor, engineer, architect or licensed trade to examine.

Let's Make Room for Living.
Step 03 — Put the Design in Writing.
For projects that need custom layouts, selections or visualization, we offer a separately priced design phase. Before any design payment, you receive a written description of the deliverables, fees, timeline, revision policy and ownership/use terms. A design agreement is not a construction contract and does not guarantee a final construction price.
Step 04 — Review Options & Budget Trade-Offs.
We bring the ideas together, show how materials and layouts relate, compare priorities and adjust the concept within the agreed scope. Cost discussions are estimates until a written construction proposal is finalized.
Step 05 — Confirm Scope & Prepare to Build.
After design and relevant professional reviews, we prepare a separate detailed construction proposal. It identifies work included, exclusions, selections or allowances, schedule assumptions, payments, change-order procedures and responsibilities for permits. Construction begins only after required approvals and a written agreement.
Step 06 — Build, Communicate, Close Out.
We set an agreed communication rhythm, document changes and work through the project with appropriate oversight. At the end, we walk the space together, prepare any remaining punch list and follow the contract's final-payment and warranty provisions.
Smaller Project? We Keep It Right-Sized.
Not every bathroom needs renderings or an elaborate design package. When a targeted update can be scoped responsibly without extensive design, we'll explain a more direct estimating path.
Before Your First Conversation
You Should Never Feel Lost in the Process.
You should know what happens next, what decisions are yours and what needs professional review. Our goal is clarity at every stage.
